Kayak skills booster sessions

NEW FOR 2017!

Thursday evenings throughout July and August will be skills based sessions teaching the more advanced skills of eskimo rescues and rolling, support strokes, advanced turning and freestyle skills. If you need to finish something off for your 2 star, these are for you! Open to proficient paddlers and included with youth membership, there is no need to book in advance for these.

The Overbury Cup

A series of races held throughout the season, on selected Thursday evenings.

These races are informal events - a perfect introduction to racing for newcomers - but can be taken seriously if you are that way inclined!

The results are compiled using a handicapping system so any class of boat is permitted and you can race with a crew or singlehandedly.

Open sailing for proficient youth and adult sailors is held on non-race Thursdays, 5.15-8.30pm
