Westminster Windjammers & Pimlico Paddlers
Westminster Windjammers (sailing) and Pimlico Paddlers (kayaking & canoeing) are two groups, associated with Westminster Boating Base, for adult members (18 yrs +).
They consist of like-minded individuals who would like to take their paddling and sailing experiences a bit further by organising away-trips.
All trips are led by qualified coaches and instructors and where possible WBB provides equipment at no charge and use of the minibus. The costs of the trips are covered by the participants.
Examples of trips to date are: sea kayaking in Brighton, a daytrip from Pangbourne to Henley on the Upper Thames, a day sail at Grafham Water, yachting in the Solent, etc.
To become a member you must be the holder of a WBB annual season ticket.
