Wednesday eve sailing

A recreational sailing session with safety cover for adults on the river Thames.

Time

5.45 - 9pm (you must arrive by the start time of the session)

Suitable for

Proficient adult or youth sailors (RYA Level 2 or above).

This session runs in parallel with our singlehander tuition session which is booked separately.

What does it involve?

Every session is run under the supervision of a qualified RYA Senior Instructor in a powered safety boat. If it is your first time here, you will be given a safety brief.

On your first visit you will need to sail with another of our experienced sailors in order to become familiar with the conditions and how we operate. Once we're confident you are capable of sailing on your own, you may take full advantage of our varied fleet of dinghies.

We operate on all tides.

Do I have to book in advance?

By booking and paying online in advance you are ensuring a space (subject to availability of someone being available for you to sail with on your first visit). There are also a number of places available to those who wish to just turn up. These places operate on a first-come-first-served basis (cash only if paying on the door).

If you're not booking in advance, you will still need to REGISTER on this site before arrival.

Price

£15 per session (No charge and no need for season ticket holders and youth members to book in advance).

What to bring

Please note: whether you book in advance or just turn up, you must arrive by 6.15pm or you may be turned away. It is not possible to join in once the session has started. We cannot refund latecomers.
