Wednesday evening kayaking - youth
A kayaking session with tuition on the river Thames.
16:45-19:30 (you must arrive by the start time of the session)
Beginner and intermediate youth members
Every session is run under the supervision of a qualified instructor. If it is your first time here, you will be given a safety brief and then introduced to the instructor(s). A typical session includes tuition for all levels of ability, some fun and games and a short distance of paddling along the river.
Tuition will follow the British Canoeing personal performance awards syllabuses and you'll be able to gain nationally recognised personal skill awards.
It is not necessary to come to every evening consecutively. The instructors will teach you from where you left off.
By booking and paying online in advance you are ensuring a space. There may also be a number of places available on the day if you wish to just turn up and try your luck. These places operate on a first-come-first-served basis.
If you're not booking in advance, you will still need to REGISTER on this site before arrival.
Included with youth membership
NOTE: Nobody will be allowed on the water without the above.
Time and tide wait for no one - whether you book in advance or just turn up, you must arrive by 16:45pm or you may be turned away. It is not possible to join in once the session has started.
