Introducing our new Director

Introducing our new Director

Posted on the 17th of September, 2018

Dear Members, Parents, Guardians and Supporters

I am delighted to have been appointed as Hugh O’Byrne’s successor, and look forward to continuing and building on Hugh’s considerable achievements. In the few short weeks since taking over, I have been highly impressed with the enthusiasm and commitment from everyone – our members (young and not so young), our volunteers and of course the WBB Team. This is a vibrant and immensely successful organisation, but it is dependant on raising the necessary funds to ensure we can continue to offer the amount and variety of watersports activities, as ever an ongoing challenge! It is therefore extremely important to make sure that as many people as possible know about the WBB, so please keep spreading the word. You will also know how professional and caring all our instructors are; however, if anyone ever has a concern or complaint, please bring it to the WBB Team’s attention as soon as possible, even if you believe it to be trivial. That way it can be investigated and resolved without delay. Finally, if I have not already met you, please do come and introduce yourself next time you’re here.
