How much does it cost?

£5 to take part in watersports and a suggested contribution of £2 to cover art materials.

You are most welcome to come along and see what goes on without going on the water. Join the group for a cup of tea to see your friends or make new friends, or just enjoy the tranquility of the river. You will not be charged for this.

What activities can I do?

Sign up for afternoon watersports sessions (all waterborne sessions are led by experienced professional instructors).

Activities might include powerboat driving or kayaking. We provide all the gear including buoyancy aids but you will need to bring a full second change of clothing, including shoes.

Activities operate on a first-come-first-served basis but we try to accommodate as many as possible.

For some it's as much about the social occasion as the watersports so come along, have a cuppa and a chat and see what goes on. Maybe you'll be persuaded to give the watersports a try, but do come and visit us.

How do I sign up?

  1. Register on this website which will provide us with your contact details.
  2. Book the sessions as listed in the Activities Schedule on this page.

Please note that if you are late, you may be turned away. Time and tide wait for no one!

You need to bring...

Nobody will be allowed on the water without the appropriate clothing!
