In addition to our regular on site activities throughout the year, each summer we run training camps for whitewater kayaking and coastal sailing.
These camps provide our youth members with a fantastic opportunity to develop their boating and personal skills in a supportive environment. It's hard work and lots of fun and makes memories for a lifetime. The rapid skill progression over the course of each trip is spectacular.

For kayakers we offer a ten day camping trip to the Rhone valley in France. We’re based at the Espace Eaux Vives in Saint-Pierre-de-Bœuf which has a whitewater course which provides the perfect controlled environment for coaching beginers. There’s also a lake for flat water practice and our camp site is a ten minute paddle across the lake.
For sailing camps the location changes from year to year to provide a variety of conditions, and we have a range of options including the Solent, West Country and East Coast. Sailing in wide open water is often a new experience for our youth sailors and gives them valuable experience as well as a great boost to their confidence.
