Westminster Boating Base is an independent charity for young people teaching sailing, powerboating, kayaking and canoeing on the river Thames in central London. Being independent, we receive no long-term funding, grants or subsidies so we rely upon gifts of money and fees for usage and membership. We also have many volunteers making gifts of their time. Donations can be given at any time throughout the year. In order to assist with recouping the running costs of the charity, the spacious function rooms with riverfront balconies are let as a venue for parties; conferences and seminars; wedding receptions and other events. Office opening times: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. Registered Charity No. 299412
A Royal Yachting Association (RYA) & British Canoe Union (BCU) approved training centre, regulated by the Adventure Activities Licensing Service (AALS).
